At SIGN the emphasis is on creating a pamphleteering, absurdist library by human and non-human artists. These are:

Project ITC: Rizq Naherta

Espacio Estamos Bien; Francisca Khamis + Mariana Jurado Rico, Josefina Contin, Nicolas Vizcaino, Sergio Duran + Julia Nowicka, Enrica Arbia.
The Multi-Species Collective: G.C. Heemskerk + Miemel Heemskerk + Wiske Heemskerk + Doris Meijer + Eva Meijer.
Counter Tourist Information: Bernadette Geiger, Lorenzo Quint, Mania Napiorkowska, Maria Exarchou, Su Nianzu, Thijs van Loenhout, Victor Utne Stiberg, Wang Zheng, Anita Burato.

They had a working period from August 26 to September 25 for research, creation and implementation to make zinephile interventions in the public space of Groningen. Their newly created zines, pamphlets, manifestos and related items will be shown in the SIGN library on 26 + 27 + 28 + 29 September.

There is an archive of bootleg films and zines from a queer perspective, an oral and written dissemination of positive failure, the Counter Tourist Cargo Bike full of unprecedented information of Groningen, and there are zines for and by non-humans.

And furthermore workshops, film screening, conversations, food, text tattoos, DJ + karaoke sets and more

SIGN is open daily from 12:00-17:00

'Scripts to read the city' is a search through the city by Mania Napiórkowska + Anita Burato of Counter Tourist Information.

Join us for a workshop on how to read the city. By reading we mean finding other possible ways of seeing, moving and listening. Explore how scripts and unpredictability can enhance each other, fostering imagination, encouraging to engage with space from another perspective.
